Personalized Pain Care
At Pain Care Clinic of Idaho, we believe in pain care and the freedom it can provide. Even if
you don’t know where your pain comes from or how it started, we believe in giving you a
safe and medically-sound pain care alternative. We focus
on effective pain treatment that often leads to pain relief, all without narcotics or unwanted
procedures. *
We take the time to get to know you, know your pain, and move forward with a personalized
treatment plan. We offer a variety of treatments for chronic and acute pain, post-surgical
pain, and neuropathic pain. These non-narcotic, minimally-invasive
treatments include Scrambler Therapy® Technology and medical acupuncture. All of our care
is delivered by an experienced, accredited medical doctor (MD) who deeply understands the
relationship between pain, the body, the brain, and the
patient.
"My pain level has gone from 9s and 8s to zeroes (0). The
treatment was only 45 minutes and didn't hurt at all. It actually took away all of the
pain." - Karla, RSD patient

treatment methods that make you feel even worse than when you came in to see us. Instead, we
focus on creating an individualized treatment plan that’s
tailored to your specific pain.

Scrambler Therapy® Technology
Scrambler Therapy® Technology treats chronic, acute, neuropathic, and oncologic pain that
has been resistant to other treatments. This non-narcotic, non-invasive treatment helps
“retrain” your brain through an electrocutaneous
method communicating a “non-pain” signal back to the brain. It’s completely
painless, and many of our patients even describe it as comforting. Scrambler Therapy® is
FDA cleared, and boasts a 90% success rate for chronic,
acute, and neuropathic pain. **
Pain Care Clinic of Idaho’s Dr. Edmund Boese is also the first physician in the country to
be certified in Scrambler Therapy® through Delta International Services & Logistics by
the inventor, Giuseppe Marineo, a biophysicist at
the University of Rome Tor Vergara, Italy.
Medical Acupuncture
Medical acupuncture is an effective option for treatment of conditions including Fibromyalgia,
Parkinson’s, MS, shingles, osteoarthritis, neuropathic pain, chronic headaches, back,
neck, and shoulder pain. *
Medical acupuncture uses fine needles and a physician’s diagnosis to treat chronic and
acute pain. Unlike non-medical acupuncture, medical acupuncture requires a physician’s
diagnosis and follow up care. This treatment offers an
alternative approach for non-narcotic acute and chronic pain care.
Dr. Boese is a Harvard trained medical acupuncturist, and is one of only three certified Medical
Acupuncturists in Idaho.
“The Pain Care Clinic has given me back my life by by
allowing me to be a wife and a mother, and it’s helped me not to take things for
granted anymore.” - Denise, RSD patient
